    Shipping policy

    PRODUCT DISPATCH AND DELIVERIES POLICY

    Deliveries will be dispatched from Greater Whitsunday Distillery within 10 working days of order and payment processing. Receipt of delivery to purchaser’s address is dependent on purchaser’s proximity to Greater Whitsunday Distillery and may range from overnight to 14 days.

    Delivery dates or times indicated are approximate only and do not constitute a guarantee of delivery or delivery by such date or time. No time of the essence transaction will be considered unless agreed in writing by Greater Whitsunday Distillery. Greater Whitsunday Distillery does not guarantee delivery on that date and is not liable for any loss resulting from late delivery. Nor does it guarantee that the ordered or requested quantity of goods is delivered. As a small batch distillery, Greater Whitsunday Distillery reserves the right to offer a smaller allocation to its customers than may have been ordered or requested, based on over-subscription of offers.

    Deliveries cannot be made to PO boxes or anywhere outside of Australia. In the instance the recipient has provided incorrect or out-of-date details, Greater Whitsunday Distillery is not liable for incorrect or unclaimed delivery.

    Greater Whitsunday Distillery offers the opportunity to provide delivery instructions to have goods left at point of delivery. All efforts will be made to ensure these instructions are followed but it must be clear that the customer takes on this option at their own risk. 

    To ensure prompt delivery, please provide a telephone number/contact person for the delivery address as we require a signature for all deliveries.

    Any deliveries requiring redelivery, or redirection provided by yourself to a new address provided by the recipient may incur an additional charge. 

    Goods will NOT be delivered to persons under the age of 18 years. Greater Whitsunday Distillery may request that the person who receives the goods provide satisfactory evidence of proof of age.

    Greater Whitsunday Distillery must be notified of damage caused to goods during shipping, within 2 days of delivery. To investigate any damage Greater Whitsunday Distillery may require photo evidence that damage was caused during transit.

    All attempts will be made to ship items in original packaging. There may be instances where the packaging can be damaged in transit. Minor labels markings or scuffing is impossible to avoid in every instance. If you require a product in pristine condition we recommend you visit a supplier directly or contact us directly via our contact page.

    Greater Whitsunday Distillery has no obligation to arrange for insurance of goods against the risks of carriage.
